Hi, I’m Katie. I live in Clarion County, PA, and have spent over 20 years working with small businesses. My path has taken me through farming, agricultural cooperatives, local food systems, bookkeeping, marketing, and a mix of hands-on roles that give me a real understanding of how small farms and rural businesses operate.

I’ve spent years in small-scale agriculture, working alongside growers who juggle more than most people ever see. That experience—both in the field and behind the scenes—is why I started Wildflower Works. My goal is to support the local food system by helping farmers get the business side under control so they can spend more time in the field and less time buried in paperwork. My approach is practical, farmer-friendly, and grounded in real experience.

I hold a Master’s in Sustainable Systems from Slippery Rock University, where I learned the importance of resiliency, efficiency, and finding your niche—ecological principles I like to apply to business success. I love bringing order to chaos, simplifying systems, and helping numbers tell a clear story. Through bookkeeping, light marketing, and admin support, I help small farms build clarity, confidence, and stability.

When I’m not working, I’m usually out with my dog, Sunny, exploring the dirt roads and game lands of Clarion County. I also enjoy kitchen experiments, gardening, embroidery, and playing a little music here and there.
